The foundation of any relationship with an animal is based on mutual trust and respect. Animals will not respect you if they cannot trust you. The lack of a strong foundation is the underlying problem to majority of all behavior problems. The greatest attribute about working with animals is that they live in the present, and trust with an animal can always be re-earned. There are many training methods out there. Mami strongly believes that there is no method that works for all. How comfortable and confident a pet's owner feels about applying a certain method is critical and is frequently overlooked.
Mami's mission is for pet owners to gain awareness of their own emotions and how they directly affect their pet's behavior. The ultimate goal is for owners to gain the confidence they need to become the best tool and biggest influence in modifying their pet's unwanted behavior.
